Gluefast & StikTite Label Glues

Water-Base Label Glues:

  • For adhering sheet-cut product labels and shipping labels to jars, boxes, bottles, cans, etc. 
  • All meet FDA Requirement 21CFR175.105 for food packaging adhesive
  • For making advertising displays, photograph mounts, and other uses as noted below
  • Use in GlueFast label gluers and Potdevin label gluers or as necessary
  • Wide mouth bottles allow easy pour and return from tank or tray at end of day
  • Specific glue formula to use depends on surface of container or product, but one surface must be porous

Gluefast Water-Base Label Glue

Features:

  • Suggested use: Fiber, cardboard, paper, wood, glass, treated polyethylene and polypropylene
  • Speed of set: Moderately fast
  • Type of bond: Strong fiber tearing, but no flexibility
  • Water resistant: No, but has good humidity resistance (not recommended for labeling refrigerated items)
  • Formula type: Vegetable (dextrine) 
  • Color: Dark amber

Stiktite Water-Base Label Glue

Features:

  • Suggested use: Fiber, cardboard, paper, wood, glass, coated/varnished stock, metal, many plastics
  • Additional use: Case/carton flap sealing rather than tape or staples; laminating, bookbinding, etc. 
  • Speed of set: Fast with high wet tack – remains slightly tacky when dry
  • Water resistant: Yes, with excellent flexibility and strength
  • Formula type: Resin emulsion formula
  • Color: White

Stiktite Water-Base Label Glue

Features:

  • Suggested use: Fiber, cardboard, paper, difficult paper stocks, wood and some metals
  • Additional use: Case/carton flap sealing rather than tape or staples
  • Speed of set: Very fast
  • Water resistant: Yes, with excellent flexibility and strength
  • Formula type: Resin emulsion formula
  • Color: White
